Youth Trap League

youth trap shootersDoor County Rod and Gun Club and Gardner Rifle Club invite Door County youth between 10 and 18 years old and currently in school to join the newly formed Door County Youth Trap League.

The goals of this program are to teach safe and responsible handling of firearms, provide a supportive team-based environment, using clay target sports as the catalyst and introduce youth to a sport that can be enjoyed for a lifetime.

youth shooters groupParticipation in a firearms skills and sportsmanship session will be provided and is required to participate in the league.

A $2 sign-up fee includes membership at both clubs for youth trap league activities. Ammunition cost is additional and will be made available for a nominal fee. Firearms will also be made available for use free of charge.

Hunter’s safety card is not required but strongly recommended                                              DCYT-Registration-Form-2015

Youth Trap League Details

League starts April 2nd, 2016 and runs through May 7th, 2015

Starting at the DOOR COUNTY ROD & GUN CLUB IN STURGEON BAY!

You must be 10 years old. First year shooters report @8:30 a.m., all other shooters 9:00 a.m. Shooting to follow! Cost is $60.00 for six weeks of shooting. This fee includes your membership for both clubs, shells, and targets.
